Profile

My degree is in Criminology, and I worked in Substance Misuse in Blackpool and North Lancashire with individuals and families struggling with addiction, before moving to work in Education for 10 years. I worked as a Pastoral Manager in a High School and then as the Designated Safeguarding Lead in a Primary School in Blackpool, dealing with all issues around safeguarding and child protection.

I moved to the NHS two years ago where I worked in Sexual Violence and delivered training to staff , before moving to my current role. I have delivered lots of training over the years including DSL, L3 Safeguarding Children and Sexual Violence awareness.

In my current role as Trauma Informed Trainer , I am based within the Lancashire Violence Reduction Network Team and currently co-deliver the Basic Awareness package and Lead on training for Health.  😊
