Improve engagement and outcomes by using a trauma informed lens to shape services.
Looking at your services through a trauma informed lens can help to increase engagement and improve outcomes. Realising the shared vision of a trauma informed county will reduce serious violence, trauma, and adverse childhood experiences within our communities.
Come along to a workshop to meet with peers from agencies, services and organisations (statutory, non-statutory and 3rd sector) and review our organisation development toolkit to start your trauma informed journey. Find out how the Lancashire Violence Reduction Network can support you below:
Use the Trauma Informed Lancashire organisational toolkit to guide your agency, service or organisation in becoming trauma informed. Contact the Lancashire Violence Reduction Network team for further support along your journey.
To help you to engage your staff in adopting trauma informed practices we are holding a series of ‘train the trainer’ events for your internal trainers or champions to enable them to disseminate the course content to your teams. We can also help your organisation to develop bespoke training for staff.
Organisations signing the pledge for Trauma Informed Lancashire have the opportunity to apply for the Trauma Quality Mark through the Once Small Thing charity. The charter mark is a practical and accessible tool to help organisations review, develop and evidence trauma-informed practice throughout their organisation and recognises best practice.
